Postcards Sent

Here are two postcards that I made and both have been received so I can now show you.

One was for Anna and the other was for Francoise.

The one for Francoise was made from the paper fabric
that I had posted on the 9th January.
The one for Anna was made by laying fancy fibres onto hand dyed silk with a chiffon scarfe on top and
then twin needled with metallic thread.

These were my first attempts at postcards.

Hi Doreen, that was me that deleted the above comment - sorry!!
You are a marvel - these are fantastic - love the backgrounds on both of them - especially the bottom one.

Just love the textures and double-needle stitching you used. I'm learning about thread blending, double needles and anxious to try on my first postcards!
