Fabric for the Journal Covers

I spent the afternoon aging the fabrics that I want to use for my journal covers.
One will be on the outside of the cover and the other will be on the inside.
Now I will choose from these pieces which two I will use.
I have scanned a piece of the fabric as to how it looked before and after for you to see.
This one looks great in real life but I am not sure whether the flowers are too big or not.

This one at this point is my favourite----

And this one is good as well----

And I do like this also------

The bottom two were cream homespun before I played with them--good also----
I think one of these will be the inside cover.
The first one has a slight pinkish tone to it.

I have to make a choice but I will have to leave it until tomorrow--maybe a good nights sleep will help.

We are on the home stretch now.

The aging looks really good on all the samples. The last one really shows the patterning well. And I kind of like those splashy flowers on the first sample. You have lots of good choices.

I like your first choice too Doreen and either of the last two fabrics will be perfect for the inside covers. It's going to look stunning.

Just catching up on your blog and letting you know I am still alive - I know how you worry. :)
Love the way the journal is turning out.
Fabric number 4 is my favourite but I am sure you will make the right choice in the end :)

I like all of them so it would be a tough decision for me! But having a good night's sleep should help make it easier.

(PS - I'm back online and doing some catching up.)

I think I would need lots of sleeps to choose among your pieces, I like them all - no doubt you will find a good use for the ones which don't go on the journal cover. The gifts in the previous post are pretty spectacular also. Cheers, Robin
