I have been fiddling around for several hours changing backgrounds and headers ---it took me ages because I didn't have a clue what I was doing but I finally came up with something that I like---what do you think?
I found the background tag on Janet's blog so I took a look at what was on offer and I chose this one and then Blogger had a header that matched it.
How lucky is that?

I like it! It's very pretty and doesn't interfere with your photos. Sometimes people have such busy backgrounds that I don't notice anything else! This is beautiful.
lovely background Doreen
Let me be the first to say....YES! It is so much more 'You'
I like it Doreen, and just look at your goodies...you are going to have fun!
Oh yumm! Love it!
Hi Doreen not sure what happened then - blogger told me my comment was saved before i started typing - so any odd comment you got was mine. anyhow... this is lovely. The first time the page loaded the background didnt - it was just plain white, so i was wondering what all the fuss was about. now i can see it I understand.
Doreen - This looks so good - I need instructions on how to improve my blog. Suzanne
Looks nice Doreen! The background reminds me of old linen paper...lovely.
It looks great Doreen - and very you (classy).
Well done!
Doreen I did it I organised myself new look blog. Thanks for the info. Suzanne
I like it very much!
Great background Doreen, it's nice to have a change every now and then.
The new header/background is great, decorative yet restrained at the same time. I love those old papers on your previous post, they are fantastic and so precious. I look forward to seeing what you do with them. Starburst Stains are lovely aren't they? I bought mine in dauber bottles as I already have some other sprays.
Doreen, what is that old saying, a change is as good as a holiday, VBG ? I love the new look, I could use an update on my blog as well. I think I need a BIG holiday though so can I have both please, LOL. Can you tell I have had builders on site for nearly 8 weeks!!!
Hooroo,
Christine.
