Week 13 of the TAST 2 challenge over on Sharon B's blog is Raised Cup Stitch.
This is yet again another new stitch to me.
I rather like this stitch and will use it in my Crazy Patchwork pieces.
The first one is my official sample and you will notice that the last yellow flower is bigger than the rest --that is because I worked two rows around the cup.
The centre of the blue flowers are French Knots in Perle 5 thread and the yellow ones have pearl beads for the centres.
This is my sample sampler in variegated Perle 5 thread with pearl beads centres.

Nice one Doreen - I liked this stitch too, can see it being very useful in different things.
Your felting looks great too - particularly like the blue green one.
Cheers, Sue McB
ps. I'm wondering why your blog will only let me comment as my google account, and not my blogsite???
This is the sweetest stitch! I really admire all your stitches and enjoy your posts on them.
Simple bouquet but so effective!
I love your flowers.
I love this stitch - you can make it look quite dainty or chunky by altering the type of thread. It's quite quick to work too.
Sweet! I love it with the variegated thread.
I like this one. I can see it being very useful in different weight threads to produce a highly textured piece.
Doreen, like your little flowers they are gorgeous. Also like the way you have joined the stitched circles to make a scroll effect. Isn't it amazing how many different variations of the stitches emerge...
You're getting very good at these stitches! Very nice :)
A pretty stitch - I can see it would be great for crazy patchwork.
Lovely felts too.
i can't wait to try this one. i had previously thought that it reminded me of barnacles, fungus or lichen. upon seeing the two beads within the one stitch that you created i was reminded of a nest . . . THAT could be fun~!~
:-)
