We used Procion dyes and mainly only used 3 colours--obviously red- yellow and blue.
I wanted to have fabrics- thread and silk ribbon in the one colourway and I must say I am absolutely thrilled with the out come of this lot.
The fabrics are- on the left cotton and on the right silk georgette--the silk ribbon is in 3 different widths and the cotton thread is perle 5.
These fabrics are cotton and cotton scrim
This is silk organza and it has such rich colours in the middle piece but they are hard to see here.
There was a small amount of black added in here somewhere.
Another piece of scrim--------
This is cotton fabric again and here is a small section to show you the colours.
I really am pleased with the way these pieces have turned out--I love hand dyed fabrics but am not a great lover of dyeing my own fabrics because I am not always sure of what I am doing--but I was in very capable hands with Suzanne.
I have a few ideas as to how I will use all of these but we will just have to wait and see.

Yummy colours! The last piece is gorgeous.
Will look forward to seeing what you do with these goegeous pieces.
Doreen these look fantastic. We had a great day yestereday - great weather too especially when I woke up this morning and it was raining. How lucky were we yesterday.
Goodness, what a lot of fab materials to use now. There is nothing better than dying your own and so successfully too.
Look forward to seeing what you use it for.
Cheers
Nice dyed pieces. It is more fun to do it with a friend.
oooh...this is a pretty nice heaven to be in! Love all the colours and can't wait to see what you do with them.
These look lovely Doreen. I was wondering do you buy thread/ribbon especially for dying, or do you just use white commercial thread (eg DMC perle)? also is scrim cheesecloth?
This is great Doreen, I hope you find some great uses for your fabrics!
All are Fab-u-lous!!
Looks like you had a productive & successful day Doreen, have fun using your lovely fabrics.
These are really great Doreen - no wonder you think you are in heaven. Look forward to seeing what you do with some of them - love the silk organza. Val
These fabrics are just lovely Doreen. Where do you keep all your ATC trades?(I'm assuming you have a big lot now) I'm trying to work out a good form of storage or display.
I am drooling all over my keyboard.
