Just in the nick of time I have finished my September Crazy Quilt block for the TIF challenge.
I started last night doing the embellishing and I have stitched all day today so that I could get it finished before tomorrow when the October challenge is posted.
As I said before these are the colours that my printer produced and I have taken the easy option and used them mainly because I like the way they work together.
The stitching etc is not up to par with previous months but I have been so busy with other things that I really got behind.
Next month I will try harder.
Tomorrow will be interesting to see what we have to work with in October.

I think you have done a wonderful job with these colors Doreen. I love the little touch of the butterfly bead...it looks like it is flying.
And I smile every time I see some of that lace you bought at Chapel Street Bazaar!
It looks great Doreen - love the happy little butterfly flitting around.
New colours are up and this time they're printing 'true' on my computer.
This is amazing Doreen! I love all the colors you used and the stitching! I see your still embellishing with the felting machine! Wasn't Dale's class awesome! I am hoping soon to be able to finish up my 4 side vessel I am making from the class as a gift to my daughter for her birthday.... And all your CQ blocks are over the top!
hugs,
Lovely Doreen, I like the butterfly trail too. How are your blocks looking together so far??
As usual, Doreen, you've created a stunning piece, I love it.
Worth the wait. It turned out very well.
I love the crazy patchwork piece and the stitching looks fine to me. Also love your Nuno felt pieces and the tassels are gorgeous. Congratulations on such a successful exhibition.
thanks for all the comments Doreen, life has been a bit too hectic but somehow it never seems to calm down. I havent quite finished my September TIF but its almost done.
No where near as nice as yours but I did try to keep to the idea of lists.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!
It looks lovely Doreen, colours are great. Congrats on your exhibition & sales.
The thing is, even if you don't think it's up to your par of previous months it is still a pretty piece. I love the dotted line following the butterfly path and it all comes together into a nice piece with each element showing up clearly. Hanging in there with the TIF is an accomplishment in itself.
