TAST 2 Week 34

Week 34 on TAST 2 saw us doing Buttonholed Double Chain Stitch --another interesting stitch.
I had a problem doing the right hand side of the stitch in the beginning but it all worked out in the end.
I think I am going to have to draw the two lines that I have to follow on the fabric as I seem to always veer off to one side all the time.
While I am doing the stitching I think that I am doing a straight line but when I have finished I have strayed off line a bit.

If you want to see how the stitch is done drop into Sharons blog.

I call veering off the line having a 'hitch in yer git-along'. Works for walking too!

well Sharon has really stumped me with this one, just cant get it. thank goodness I am using some thick crochet cotton and old fabric to practice

Yours looks straight enough for me. It is the right side that I am having the trouble with. It looks like it should be easy....I wonder how many other people are haveing difficulty with this.

I think I will just post my pathetic efforts and move to the next one....and go back to it later....
