Rope Stitch Official Sampler

Here is my second version of Rope Stitch worked on my Official sampler.
This stitch is great for stems because you can get plenty of movement with it.
I have added Lazy Daisy flowers with French knots in the centres.

I think it is supposed to be a bit smoother than what I have produced but I rather like the texture that I have ended up with.
Another good one Sharon

Great flowers, it would be lovely on a crazy block too.

I also like it with more texture. Gorgeous, - you are being quick.

I, too, like the movement and the texture. Would be a great stitch for an illuminated alphabet.

Another useful and attractive stitch Doreen - I like the texture you have achieved.

Thank you for your comments on my stitches Doreen...Your rope stitch is very textured. I dont think I got enough angle with mine, and it is more like twisted chain....but it is going to be a very useful stitch.

It makes pretty stems, strong looking ones.

Doreen,
I like the pattern very much..
After reading Shirley's comments I feel I might have done the stitch wrong..mine also look like twisted chain stitch.have to redo the stitch again..

The texture is nice. The rope stitch looks very different when done with different threads and that is ok!
