The top one is the one that I received from her--I am always amazed at these tiny works of art that she does.
And here is the one that I sent her.
The fabric for the background was from one of the pieces that I was given when on holidays in Melbourne and no I didn't do the cross stitched Christmas tree--it was one that I purchased off the recycle table at the Guild.

Anne really does some detailed work! That ornament on the ATC is beautiful.
The background material you used is just perfect for a Christmas theme, and the little tree is so cute.
Anne's embroideries are just amazing
Beautiful swaps Doreen - I go cross eyed at the thought of that fine cross stitch.
Yes, Anne's work is beautiful. I guess next year you will have to get out the ole needle and floss to reciprocate with another one of a kind creations. Yours is wonderful and I love the red fabric and the tree looks very nice with the red background. Cross stich is really a breeze so long as you give yourself plenty of time and don't run into crunch schedules like I do.
Both cards are lovely. My eyesight has gone well past the point where I could do tiny cross stitch.
Love the both of them, Doreen...You ladies have helped the creative juices to flow now~!!
Great artwork...
I am so far behind on blogs at the moment (my lap top has gone to God). So I am catching up on your lovely posts. Ann does such beautiful work and you do too!
