It's that time again--again

This year "Anorexia" has her royal dress on (if you don't know about Anorexia follow this link).
All fancied up in purple and gold but this year there are no trinkets -just baubles and tinsel.
This is a big break with tradition for us but what the heck she has been laden down year after year with the same stuff and I thought she needed a reward for all those years of service.
I have been accumulating the purple things from the after Christmas sales over the last few years just for this moment.
I give you "Princess Anorexia"---------------

I even redecorated the front door wreath with purple and gold and I think it looks wonderful.

Even got into the colour theme myself as I was doing it.

And just for fun when I had finished I took a swoopy photo.

Now it feels like Christmas.

I lve your Christmas tree Doreen - tradition has it over new stuff every time! I have just caught up with your story of the trip to Melbourne - I do sympathise, but I couldn't stop laughing - I think I would be asking for a room closer to the ground next time. Cheers, Robin

Still chuckling.

Princess Anorexia looks great! How could she not....she's dressed in purple! And I love the photo of you, Doreen, with the purple antlers.

its a great tree. ours is very old (the same age as me) and anorexic (not the same as me!) and now has a rather pronouced lean to it. probably because the kids always cram 90% of the decorations onto 10% of the tree. I use the word decoration lightly - i really mean carboard/paddlepop/glitter glue creations.

the angel and the wall hanging you gave me last year have pride of place in the entry (next to the tree) - thank you. thinkin of you xx

I love your tree and what a great name too. There's something to be said for simplifying our lives and I think you've done a great job of it.

What a coincidence - I must have felt your purple vibes over the airways, any way glad you like it.
