Two Teddies

Today MaryAnne had on her blog 2 wonderful fur teddies that she had made and I commented that I had never made fur Teddies but I had made wool embroidered Teddies.
She asked if I could take a photo of them for her to see so here they are MA.
They are made out of wool blanketing and are embroidered with fine wool and silk ribbon.
I made them a few years ago now and I must admit it was fun doing them.

This is a close up of the cream bears tummy and feet---------

and his head.

And the apricot ones feet and tummy -------------

and his head.

What about all those tiny embroidery stitches-- phew--

They are stunning Doreen, there used to be a magazine we could get over here full of the wool embroidered projects I think that was Australian.it was beautifully photographed and I used to drool over the projects.

The stitching is just exquisite Doreen, could you do the same again now? Actually I take back that comment, I am sure you could, your stitching on your projects looks just as fine - and always lovely. I made just two furry bears, quite fun, but too hard to be repeating that, and anyway none of my grandkids is interested in having one. Cheers, Robin

Oh these are super. These are art teddys! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I need to get caught up on the blogs I like to visit and haven't been to lately. I'm taking an internet class on PhotoShop Elements gift making. I figured I'd learn a little bit about Elements that way but it takes a lot of time. I am learning though!
