The two orange tulips are made from fabric made on the embellisher.
Val has borrowed an embellisher from her friend so that she can do Dale's second
workshop and these flowers are made from the first piece of fabric that she has made---and the lessons haven't even started yet.
I had sent Val some scrim and some silk fabric strips for her class and she offered to send me some of her antique lace pieces and when I opened the parcel I couldn't believe my eyes.
I was going to put them all in a pile and photograph them but I decided to show all of them to you so that you could at least appreciate just how lucky I am.
First there is this beautiful piece of fine black lace-----------
Next was this triangle in a soft green colour------
These pieces are amazing-----
So are these----

My Goodness they do look fabulous Doreen - what gorgeous pix.! I'm thrilled you like them. Val
Beautiful laces AND beautiful card! I love antique laces but have a really hard time cutting into them to use them on blocks, even though I know they at least will be seen rather than languishing in a drawer somewhere.
You luck girl. What fabulous lace. Look forward to spotting it in the future.
Cheers
How lovely, all that gorgeous lace and the beautiful card, your spending at the show seems quite restrained, hope i can do as well as you at the Quilt fest on friday!!!
All those lace pieces are so pretty and delicate. What a wonderful gift!! I'm sure you'll use them in some beautiful creations of your own.
Beautiful card from Val. And a lovely assortment of laces. I did not think you purchases were boring, they were beautiful, you did a good job of select buying.
