I usually try to stay within the colours that Sharon has given us but this time I had to use some brighter colours to give the block life.
This time I have added a spider and it's web and also a lot more silk ribbon embroidery.
I am glad that I decided to do the crazy blocks each month because I am enjoying the stitching very much even though my right thumb isn't very happy about it.
Now to get on with all my other challenges that have to be finished this month.

Love this block, the spiderweb and butterfly, it looks like a Spring-garden to me. But at your place it will soon be Autumn ;)

Oh, I really like this block. The spider web is my favorite part and the little spider hanging on to the end of it. Everything about this one is so pretty....all the flowers and buttons. Fantastic work!!
Your block is just great Doreen. That spiderweb in the centre is fabulous
Beautiful! I love the detail of the spider web.
This may ease your sore thumb. I pull a "cut-off finger" from a latex glove over my thumb to more easily grasp the needle. My husband calls these "thumb condoms".
Oh, really, really beautiful Doreen - love the spiders web and all the pretty little flowers.
Very very pretty Doreen! I always look forward to seeing what you do. I'm working away on mine, but nothing much to show at the moment.
