TIF February challenge

Progress has been slow this month on my TIF challenge but now I have started the surface stitching things should look up from now on.
I am trying to stay within the colour choice and so far I have been successful---I have silk ribbons and buttons and lace motifs that will come within the colour range so things should work out ok.
I am hoping to have this finished by the weekend but I have a busy schedule this week so time will tell.

Even though these would not be colors I'd choose, I really like how they go together here. I'll bet when you're finished it will be stunning....it already shows signs of that.

As usual Doreen, you're doing a lovely job with this piece, I love your choice of stitches and embellishment, looking forward to seeing it finished.

Very pretty Doreen! Great use of the colour choices. I have to agree with Janet that they aren't colours I would choose if on my own, but they do work together.
I'm working away on mine & hope to post an update tomorrow.

Looks great so far Doreen, loved your Feb postcard too. I'll have to get cracking on my TIF I'm a bit slow this month.

Hi Doreen!
I really like your choices of fabric and trim. The way in which you've positioned the colors makes each one sing while bringing harmony to the whole!
