Ask Me How I feel?

Well the answer is --exhausted.
I worked seven hours on Thursday setting up the recycle table--very tiring- then back for the official opening at 7.30pm then seven hours on Friday selling the stuff on the recycle table and today it was 6 hours.

Friday was a busy day and we had lots of customers but today was a cold and bitter day so things were very quiet.

Tomorrow it will be nine hours because after it closes we have to pull everything down and pack all the stuff up.

Thank goodness it only happens once a year--I don't think this old body could take another day.

It has been a great time meeting up with old friends who seem to show up annually to check out all the work that the members have done.

I thought I would show a photo that was taken of Stephen and his gorgeous wife (me) at the opening night--and I can tell you that after standing for all that time selling stuff I am even more shorter than him now.

OK I know it is early but I am off to bed.

You might have felt exhausted Doreen, but it didn't show in the photo. You and Stephen both have lovely smiles.
Hope all your efforts will be worthwhile - I'm sure the lovely things you made for the sales table are being snapped up.
A nice rest when it's all over.

That Stephen! He snagged himself a gorgeous wife....just look at his smile.

Sorry your days have been so long but it will be over soon and you'll have a whole year to recover for the next one.

Great job Doreen,
Did you sell any pieces this year??
I should be off stitching for ours at the end of October!!!
Luckily we do this bi-annually.

I think you both look great Doreen, you don't look exhausted at all, VBG. Like that colour on you too. Heard you had a talk with my friend Margaret V. from Sydney too, she enjoyed her visit very much. Hope you get a chance for a rest this week now.
Hooroo,
Christine

Y'know, I think you HAVE shrunk..I don't remember your Better Half being so much taller than you when you two were down here!
Must be the month for all the Guilds to have their exhibitions; we finished ours today too, and from what I overheard, the organisers were fairly pleased with the takings.

What a lovely couple! Glad to hear that the show is going well (I'm late commenting so I imagine it's all over with by now). Be sure to take a couple of days to rest up!
