TAST 2 Week 5 Knotted Buttonhole Stitch

Tast 2 Week 5 with Sharon B is a variation of Buttonhole stitch.
This time it is Knotted Buttonhole stitch.
These are my first attempts done on my sample fabric and then I will work on my official sampler.
The green line is how the original stitch looks.
The yellow line is done by slanting the upright stitches on a backward of forward angle and they are different lengths.
In the third row I have added a bead before I worked the knotted part of the stitch.

Now onto the main sampler.

Lovely ATCs Doreen - I had a closeup look so I could see all the textures and stuff! Gorgeous!
Your Stitch Samplers are looking great too - such variation amazes me!

Another lovely stitch Doreen with lots of variety and possible uses. Machine stitching is great but I always enjoy the quiet therapy of hand stitching.

little carrot tops poking out of the ground with mountains in a land where bunnys thinking how far until I must travel to reach them.
Guess I'm feeling silly this morning.

If only I lived closer to you Doreen - I would love to sit next to you and watch how you do all Sharon's stitches! I gave up on TAST last year about half way through the year, as the stitches just got far too complicated for me to figure out, and that takes the pleasure out of embroidery for me.

That looks like a versatile stitch Doreen, especially the beaded one. I have at last started!

I love what Joei said about your little sampler!! I bet you already know which stitches I prefer....not only the color but I like the added bead.
