My Garden is Confused

We are now into the middle of March and by now my Ornamental Grape Vine (?? Botanical name unknown ) is usually turning a bright red and starting to drop its leaves everywhere.
When I was washing up the breakfast dishes this morning I noticed that said tree had some tiny new green leaves starting to shoot.
No wonder it is confused we are now getting temperatures again up in the high 20's Celcius.
Last week I had to get out a pullover now we are back into shorts.

This little leaf almost appears to be asking "is it safe to pop out".

Ahh this crazy weather.

Crazy weather indeed Doreen. People have been going around here the past couple of days in shorts and tshirts, which is absolutely unheard of in this part of Canada in March. Weird.

And we are feeling thrilled that the temperature has dropped a tiny bit so we don;t need the air conditioning on at night! Cheers, Robin

I think gardens worldwide are confused Doreen. A week before Christmas I saw blossoms trying to come out on our cherry tree - they aren't due till the middle of March and actually have still not come out yet. That little green leaf looks great against the dark colours of the mature ones. Lovely to see your green lawn and shrubs in your previous post. We don't often get parched lawns in the UK but they do look sad. I'm always amazed at how they manage to recover once the weather turns wetter and cooler.

Thanks for sharing the pics Doreen. I know what you mean about the weather. It has been the same down here.
Thought we were coming into cooler weather and this week has been humid and hot with very warm nights.
Roll on Autumn I say!
Much love to you.

I had to laugh a little at this post. I have been feeling confused all week, can I blame the weather too? I hope so.
