Hold the rain dance-----------

----------it has worked.
Finally we have had a good saturating rain that lasted more than ten minutes.
In fact it went on for hours.
I promise this will be the last rain photos for a while--but when it started to bucket down late yesterday afternoon I went out and stood in it (as one does) with my camera.
I noticed the rain drops were creating a wonderful pattern in the bird bath--(click on the picture to get a better look.)

And look at the colour on one of my Erosion bundles-I think the pink is coming from some hand dyed paper that I put inside and the brown is probably from the bark but I not sure.

When I got up this morning the birds were chirping happily and the bundles were swaying in the gentle breeze and everything was wet.
Yeehah

That's great! I would have danced in the rain, too! Love the bird bath photo....that would make a beautiful painting.

Hi Doreen
So pleased you have had some rain. Smiling at the thought of you standing out in it with your camera.

lucky you, we havent had any. well a couple of drops and a lot of wind. I know you have been terribly hot and dry as well though.
I didnt do an erosion bundle as I think I may privately start one in the next month or so when it will get some weather on it.

So pleased you got your rain at last. We don't often have a real drought here in the UK but I can remember standing out in the rain after six weeks of (to us) searing heat - it was lovely. The patterns on the bird bath water are beautiful and your erosion bundle is looking interesting.

So strange to read this, we are so tired of all this rain in Holland:-) We are hoping for some sun....

If we stood in the rain at the moment we'd be a bit blue when we got in!! but I'm pleased you're pleased Doreen,
