Fairies in my garden

This morning when I woke up and went out the back door I was greeted by a heavy fog---but that was not all. I could see that the spiders had been busy overnight on my clothes line. Because we have had a rather wet summer this year there has been a lot of those long spindle legged spiders all over the place. As soon as we remove the webs they are back again. Anyway this is what greeted me this morning-------

Very pretty with the moisture from the fog on them.

Oh and these pictures will definitely "embiggen" just click on them and see.

Spiders in the wild are amazing insects, and their beautiful webs are engineering wonders......which your photos portray.

Your stole, is lovely Doreen, you should be very proud of it, and I am sure everyone who sees it will agree.

When we lived in Canberra I loved autumn - the mists, the spiderwebs, the colours of the leaves - it's a lovely time. Thanks for reminding me of it!

I don't like spiders but their webs are amazing and look so beautiful with drops of moisture on them. Fog or mist usually means a change of temperature for us in UK - I guess it might mean cooler conditions for you.
