Taking a break

I have been procrastinating for a few months now about closing down my blog-but I just can't bring myself to do it.
I haven't been a very good blogger for the last 12 months and I kept thinking why do I bother.
I have not been doing much of anything that would excite me let alone any of you and as you know I have not been well either.
I still can't bring myself to close the blog down so what I am going to do is just take a break and see what happens.
I will still visit you-I may not leave a comment but I will think about you.
I just hope that this break will help me get my act together.
Take care everyone.

Best wishes, Doreen. I hope you soon feel better and get back to blogging. Your work is always inspiring - and even your tales of struggling with creative work reassure those of us who think that everyone else produces work effortlessly.

All the best Doreen, I sometimes wonder the same things...it also takes up a fair amount of time which perhaps could be put to better use.....as I survey my huge garden that needs a lot of work! Whatever you decide, may it be right for you.

Doreen, we all have to do what's best for ourselves. I know I had at first begun blogging 3 times a week, but then I felt pressured. I became inconsistent in my blogging, too, and now I blog once a week on each of my two blogs (one is a group blog) IF I want to, or if I have something to share. Sometimes I'll just blog 1/week and sometimes once/2weeks.
I shall miss your posts. I hope that your break will give you the time you need to return to blogging. Sending you a hug.

Oh Doreen, please don't close it down completely. I would hate to lose contact with you (I don't do Facebook), and I love seeing your craft projects as well as family news.
I never feel pressured to post in my blogs (all 10 of them, lol!) and there are several that I haven't posted anything on for a year or more. But I keep them alive because now and then there is something I want to show my cyberspace friends in a particular category on a blog. The ones that I do write in regularly are my way of keeping a record of what I do, regardless of whether anyone else reads them or not.
So, just do your own thing; when and if your mojo returns, you have an audience out here who will be happy to see you :-)

Doreen, I've been so absent from blogging recently that I just now read this.

I hope taking a good long break will convince you to come back but I understand if you don't. I'll miss seeing all your beautiful artwork though. Take good care of yourself.

Do you realize there is a 12 word phrase you can speak to your partner... that will induce deep feelings of love and instinctual attractiveness for you deep within his chest?

Because deep inside these 12 words is a "secret signal" that fuels a man's impulse to love, admire and guard you with all his heart...

12 Words Will Fuel A Man's Love Response

This impulse is so built-in to a man's genetics that it will drive him to try harder than before to build your relationship stronger.

Matter-of-fact, fueling this all-powerful impulse is absolutely important to achieving the best possible relationship with your man that the second you send your man a "Secret Signal"...

...You will soon notice him expose his mind and soul to you in a way he haven't expressed before and he'll distinguish you as the one and only woman in the galaxy who has ever truly appealed to him.
